EHRno Flexible A/S is a family-owned packaging company started by my parents 50 years ago. Now we are slowly starting the next generation change between the second and third generation.
The generations are coming together and we need to incorporate the best of what has gone before, but we also need to incorporate the new and modern into the future development of the company.
MakeMyStrategy™ is relatively simple, but quite functional. It forces you to consider various things, statements and what you say yourself before you can move on. That's the good thing - you get it all and you get around all the corners. It's really good.
EHRNO Flexible A/S was founded in 1971 by Elin and Ehrnfred Østergaard on a disused property. The production started with the manufacture of plastic bags, but was quickly expanded. In 1977, extrusion of PE film started, and in 1981, the company expanded with its own flexo printing plant.
Today, Ole Østergaard runs the company and is in charge of day-to-day management after a generational change in the mid-1990s.
As a serious supplier to the food industry, EHRNO Flexible A/S is aware that hygiene requirements are particularly high. Therefore, EHRNO Flexible A/S is hygiene certified according to the demanding British BRC / IOP Global Standard 2008.
In 1997, EHRNO Flexible A/S was the first Danish company within flexible packaging to be environmentally certified according to ISO 14001.
The certifications reflect a strong focus on hygiene, environment, care and service.
